MS Awareness: A Talk with Heather
The Home T is committed to raising money for multiple sclerosis (MS) research, but we also want to help raise awareness about the disease and how it impacts people.

What state do you call home?
Nebraska, born and raised.
Last night we spent the evening with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as they facilitated guest speakers that touched on research updates and healthy eating.
The event was held at Fishs Eddy in the Union Square neighborhood. Definitely stop by their shop if you’re ever in New York City — they have awesome gift and home items to purchase.
If you’ve never taken part in a multiple sclerosis (MS) fundraising walk or bike ride I seriously urge you to do so. They rock! The photo below was submitted by Karli as she was gearing up for a recent walk. Upon seeing this photo I had this overwhelming feeling that I wanted to magically […]
Multiple sclerosis fundraising walks are fantastic events that people of all ages can take part in. Raising money for the cause is at the core of everything we do at The Home T so you might say we are big fans of these walks. A number of events took place over the weekend, and there’s one […]
Isn’t it funny how certain things and conversations can stop you in your tracks?
That’s what happened during a recent conversation with a woman named Stephanie.
My call to her was part of a routine customer service inquiry, but during the conversation she started talking about the fact that she has multiple sclerosis. After a little back and forth she said,
“I just got my latest MRI results back and there were no new developments. I’m so happy about that.”
It Hit Me Like a Freight Train
This is the time of year when brands such as The Home T get really busy.
We’re printing. We’re shipping. We’re ordering product. We’re answering your calls and emails. There’s simply a ton of stuff going on and it’s easy to get caught up in the chaos.
A Night with Multiple Sclerosis Researchers
The Home T donates a portion of profits to multiple sclerosis research.
Knowing that we make the donation and where the funds go is one thing, but to see the dollars in action is another.
Recently, we attended an event with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society where we had the chance to speak with Dr. Timothy Vartanian and his colleagues at New York Presbyterian, and to also possibly inspire others to donate.
