One things for sure, the bulk of the population loves t-shirts and we wear them year round.
Traditionally, when layering a t-shirt during the colder months of the year, you may have found that you wear a long-sleeve t-shirt under a short-sleeve t-shirt for added warmth.
That’s a pretty standard layering technique, but you can take it so much farther and create an even more stylish look.
Take a look below.
By wearing a t-shirt over a button down, you instantly amp your style up a couple notches.
It’s unexpected, and will add pops of color based on your shirt selection.
Now that you know how to layer a t-shirt, there’s a couple things to watch out for:
- Make sure your undershirt doesn’t overpower the t-shirt you are wearing. For instance, if you’re wearing The Home T, you’ll want your t-shirt to make the statement.
- The button-down under your t-shirt shouldn’t be bulky. If it is, you’re going to have wrinkles under your t-shirt, and even worse, it may bulk up and make you appear heavier than you actually are… and no one wants that to happen!
All and all, this is a great way to layer a t-shirt. Doing so will keep you warm and help take your style to the next level.
